Editorial hours
The editorial team keeps standard Queensland business hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm AEST. We do not observe daylight saving time in Queensland, so add an hour of offset during the southern summer if you are writing from Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide.
What we respond to
Factual corrections. Methodology discussion. Request for retraction where a claim is unsupported. Requests to be interviewed for stories in the same category. We do not respond to guest-post pitches, paid-link requests or offers of exchange-of-value coverage; those messages are read but do not receive replies.
Complaint handling
Complaints about factual accuracy are handled directly by Sarah Mitchell, Reviews Editor. We add a dated correction note at the top of the affected page where the complaint is upheld, and we archive the pre-correction copy internally for reference. Editorial disputes that cannot be resolved through direct correspondence are escalated to a second editor on the desk.
